We’re in the home stretch of winter, and that means a new golf season is just around the corner! Today we have a guest post from Matt at TruGolf, and he’s sharing his tips on how to get you and your golf game ready for Spring.
Jack Nicklaus, one of the best golfers of all time, is famous for the following quote about his other favorite sport:
If you’re like us, you’ve likely spent a small fortune on workout gear over the years. Between the gym, yoga, CrossFit, golf, and tennis, the clothing really piles up! But are you taking care of your small investment? Workout gear isn’t like regular clothing. It can’t just be tossed in the washer and dryer. The fabric and the anti-wicking properties that make it unique require a little extra TLC.
By now, many of you have probably heard of, and even tried, the Whole30 Program. The Mr. and I have been wanting to try it for a year now (see my previous post with recipe here), but living on an island with very limited access to fresh produce and meat, made it too difficult. Now that we’re living within walking distance of Whole Foods, the time was right.
It’s time for another round of “It’s in the Bag”! I’m a bit nosy and I love reading about the contents of someone else’s purse, tote, bag, whatever. So I only think it’s fair that I share every now then as well. Today, I’m revealing what I carry around in my gym bag!
Please note that I am not a licensed trainer. I am simply sharing workouts based on my own experiences and that I enjoy. Please consult with your doctor before starting a new exercising program.
I’m a tennis player, and while I’ve only been playing the sport for a few years, I’ve realized that the stronger you are, the better your game. Strong legs allow you to squat and reach those low shots, run to get to the ball, and generally increase your stamina and power.
