#inviteHER

When Corien and I started the blog 5 years ago, our goal was to encourage and inspire more women to play more golf. It’s even how the clothing line got started. So when we saw the movement #inviteHER, we were thrilled to see others out there like us! Read More…

Five Things

It’s been far too long since we’ve written a Five Things, let alone any post on the blog. Sorry for that! With the end of summer quickly approaching and finally feeling like I can catch my breath, I wanted to come back with one of my favorite posts: Five Things…I’ve been up to lately;) Read More…

How to Improve Your Mental Golf Game

About a year ago I started working with a new golf instructor, Bill Longmuir. He’s a phenomenal teacher and has completely changed my swing and the way I play the game. When I played my first (and only to date) tournament last February, the one piece of advise he gave me was to trust my swing.

This weekend I’ll be running my fourth half marathon. Yay! When I first started training for this race, I was hoping for a PR, which would put me under two hours, but I’m not feeling quite as confident it’ll happen this time around. The past month has been insanely busy, my husband was away 10 days (making it tough to get out in the morning to run), I was away another four, and so some of my training was put to the side. I feel confident I’ll finish the race comfortably, but my under two hour dream may have to wait until 2017 (sad face). Anyway, it’s my first time taking part in the big island race, Run Barbados, so I’m really excited to finally be able to participate in this event!

Five Things

I’m so excited for our Friendsgiving next week. We’ve been hosting this event in Barbados for five years, and while we were in Cayman hosted it there for two years. Sadly, we usually can’t make it home for Thanksgiving with family, so the Mr. and I created a little family abroad. We let Gwyneth stay home from school, make these cinnamon rolls, watch the parade and football, and then our friends join us for a fabulous feast. It’s fantastic!
