We’re in the home stretch of winter, and that means a new golf season is just around the corner! Today we have a guest post from Matt at TruGolf, and he’s sharing his tips on how to get you and your golf game ready for Spring.
About a year ago I started working with a new golf instructor, Bill Longmuir. He’s a phenomenal teacher and has completely changed my swing and the way I play the game. When I played my first (and only to date) tournament last February, the one piece of advise he gave me was to trust my swing.

Happy new year! I hope you said goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017 in style! I always find the week between Christmas and the new year the biggest blur. I don’t know what day it is, where I’m supposed to be, or what I’m supposed to be doing. It’s almost blissful not having a schedule. Read More…

Yesterday was my 9th anniversary to the Mr! Three countries, six houses, two kids, about a hundred or so fish, and one crazy dog later, I am so very grateful. Read More…
2 more sleeps! Can you believe it?!? This is my favorite time of year and the first Christmas I’m spending with my family in six years. We have lots of driving to do, dinners to eat, and Champagne to drink, and I’m looking forward to every single second of it!
I am so excited for the next two weeks. We just arrived in Telluride, CO, will be here for the next week, and then off to NYC for the holidays. I absolutely adore Telluride already, and the only activities we’ve done so far are dog sledding (amazing!!!) and snowmobiling.
Hello from New Orleans! I haven’t visited this beautiful city since 2004, and it’s everything I remembered it to be.
This weekend I’ll be running my fourth half marathon. Yay! When I first started training for this race, I was hoping for a PR, which would put me under two hours, but I’m not feeling quite as confident it’ll happen this time around. The past month has been insanely busy, my husband was away 10 days (making it tough to get out in the morning to run), I was away another four, and so some of my training was put to the side. I feel confident I’ll finish the race comfortably, but my under two hour dream may have to wait until 2017 (sad face). Anyway, it’s my first time taking part in the big island race, Run Barbados, so I’m really excited to finally be able to participate in this event!
