The Cataract Canyon stretches along 100 miles of the Colorado River through Utah and is truly a remarkable place. My husband and I visited Moab, UT and embarked on a 4-day, 3-night rafting trip down the river. We covered the entire 100 miles on nothing but a raft. We slept under the stars (without tents), hiked plateaus, swam through rapids, paddled our way through white water, and met incredible people.
Three weeks ago I left for my first trip to California. The Mr. had to go for some meetings, so we added a few days on to the beginning of the trip and met up with some friends in Sonoma. Our goal: to eat, drink, and have a ton of fun. Mission accomplished!
My husband, daughter (aged 6), son (aged 14 months), parents, sister-in-law, her fiancé, his two kids (aged 5 and 8), and I just spent 10 days at the most magical place on earth! We went to Disney World and visited Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, Magic Kingdom, and Disney Springs. It was quite the holiday!
A few days ago I returned from an amazing week in Hong Kong. I can honestly say it’s like no other place I’ve ever visited. The intensity and energy from all of the people is unreal, and the options for entertainment, culture, food, and shopping are limitless! I was honestly overwhelmed by it all, especially now that I’m used to island living. I definitely wasn’t in Barbados anymore!
I love, love, love New York. So I was especially excited to be able to show Jackson around for the first time!
We did all the usual things one must do in New York. Started off with a Yankees game, that’s my lovely sister-in-law in the photo with Gwyneth and I below.
If you follow us on Instagram, you may have noticed a recent increase in pics about wine. That’s because just over a week ago I was visiting one of my favorite places in Canada. When the Mr. mentioned he had meetings in Niagara-on-the-Lake, I jumped at the chance to join him. It’s a long flight from Barbados (six hours!) for only a few days, but it was so worth it!
