Fashion trends come and go. Some we love, some we hate, and others are definitely interesting. Out of all of the trends we’ve seen, boyfriend fashion is one of our favorites. Boyfriend pants, in particular, are the best. Loosely fit, comfy, and that can be worn with anything and easily dressed up or down? Yes, please!
In addition to the amazing health benefits and competitiveness, there’s one more thing I love about tennis…the fashion! In many ways, the game of tennis has evolved more than any other sport for women when it comes to clothing options. With each grand slam tournament, the pros show off the latest designs for the season and with the US Open now in full swing, I was inspired to round up some of my favorites. From casual practice to tournament days, and even off the court, there are more options than ever for looking stylish!
Whether you want a top in a technical fabric, a fun and bright tank, or a more feminine dolman sleeve, there’s nothing but options!
“The golf course brought us together, but the laughter on the fairway made us friends.”
This quote cannot be more true. Remember those days as a child when you used to pretend with your closest friends about life together as adults? With big houses, boy band husbands and, of course, living next door to each other. Well, we had a silly conversation just like that, two years ago on the golf course. But instead of mansions and childhood crushes, we were pretending we had our own fashion line.
Several glasses of wine later, our vision became a reality. We have been looking forward to this day for so long and are incredibly thrilled to announce the launch of Bump & Run Apparel!
We were at a cocktail party a few weeks ago and several women were wearing orange dresses. Thankfully, no one had the same one on, but, wow!, we’re loving that orange has made its way up the must-wear color ladder. So we’re excited to show off our own orange fashion, which we’re calling orange blossom.
When we joined up for the Creative Closet series to highlight fringe in fashion, I didn’t realize that I actually didn’t own anything with fringe. Nothing. Nadda. Not even a little whisper of fringe on anything in my closet. How could that be? It’s an incredibly fun way to add some life into any outfit, and I was completely missing out!
As much as I love shopping and buying a new outfit, sometimes I wish I was talented enough to make my own clothes. Being able to design something for yourself that fits perfectly and looks exactly how you want, would just be amazing. I often dream about being a designer. When I try something on in the store and it’s not quite my style or the fit is slightly off, I imagine ways I’d alter it. Because there’s really nothing better than finding that perfect piece.
Unfortunately, I’m not a seamstress. I don’t even own a sewing machine. So I get overjoyed when I find fashion DIYs that require little or no sewing. It means I can create what I want, the way I want! And with fashion constantly changing, it’s a fabulous (and often cheap) way to keep up with the trends.
One of the fashion trends we’ve been seeing over and over this spring is fringe. It’s everywhere! Whether on shoes, necklaces, bags, or clothing, it adds a bit of fun flair to any outfit. We’re loving this trend, and that’s why we couldn’t be more thrilled to be co-hosting The Creative Closet with Maegen and Amanda today. It’s all about fringe benefits!
Several years back during my very first makeup lesson I learned the absolute best makeup tip for eyes. It’s called tightlining. One of my girlfriends asked me about it a few months ago, so I had to share with her (and you) how to achieve this super easy, but makes a huge impact, tip.
